Yes, there are a lot of great books out there. I hope you’ll give one of the ones I read this year a go, and if you do, let me know what you think.
I’ve only a vague inkling of what I’m going to read in the coming year. The only thing I’ve got in mind so far is The Complete Poetry & Prose of William Blake, The Complete Poetical Works of Shelley, and Perdido Street Station and Iron Council by Mievielle.

Interesting list Tom. Haven’t read any of them. But I might look into some of them. The biography of Brahms I’d like to read. The Stephen Mitchell translation of The Iliad looks great though I still really love the Richmond Lattimore version. All the best for 2014.

The Brahms biography was really excellent. I love his music, and it was good to get a fuller picture of the man behind it.
