singing this song. But I have heard more of her since.
A few days ago I was listening to some Arlo Guthrie and I heard his version of the song. I began listening to other artists singing it as well to see which one I liked the best. It came down to SIssel and Bruce Springsteen. I liked Bruce’s quite a lot but just couldn’t get on board with how he pronounced Shenandoah!

Yes, both the melody and voice. Her voice reminds me a little of Nana Mouskouri.

I came cross her singing on an album with Bryn Terfel and was stunned by her voice. Then I had quite a task trying to find an album of hers.
